HPSP - Medical School

The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) for Medical School, offered by the U.S. Army, is a comprehensive and advantageous scholarship for students accepted to or currently enrolled in accredited medical or osteopathy schools. This program is exclusively available to U.S. citizens aspiring to become medical professionals. The HPSP covers the entire duration of the medical education, up to four years, underpinning the financial aspects of the education journey.

Participants incur an Active Duty Obligation of two years for the first two years, or a portion thereof, of program participation. If participation extends beyond two years, an additional obligation of half a year is added for each additional half-year or portion of program participation.
